Seaside has a rich historical past. As the end of the Lewis and Clark trail, Seaside is a national landmark. This event is commemorated with a statue of Lewis and Clark and a reconstructed salt makers’ camp site. Seaside has long history of being a tourist destination – the city has been the Northwest’s "beach playground" for 150 years.

Here are the rules in the KELA/KMNT Daze of Summer contest

Through Friday August 14th, you can enter to win at participating businesses. These entry locations are announced on the air each day and listed above. We’ll have weekly drawings from the accumulating entries, and announce the winners throughout the day each Monday, (except for the final winner-announcement, which will be made on KMNT, Thursday August 20th, at the SWW Fair).

No purchase necessary. You need not be present to win. Only one entry per person per week at each store location allowed. You must be 12 or older to enter, but 18 or older to win one of the getaway stays, and you must reside in the KELA/KMNT listening area. Entry forms must be filled out entirely to be eligible to win.

Bicoastal Media employees and their immediate family members are ineligible. Sponsor employees may not enter at their workplace. All winners will be announced on the air, and contacted by phone. Keep listening to KELA/KMNT for entry box locations, and prizes to be awarded. Official RULES and prizes are posted at the KELA/KMNT studios, or may be obtained by sending us a self-addressed stamped envelope to 1635 Gold Street, Centralia, WA 98531.
