The Chehalis Farm Store in conjunction with Cornerstone Media Resources and Bicoastal Media - KMNT/KELA radio, offer you the opportunity to compete in this "Jingle Karaoke" Competition.  The contestants will compete by entering their name, phone # and e-mail address, if available, at Cornerstone Media Resources between June 16th and 1:00pm on June 30th. Cornerstone Media staff will draw 10 contestants from these entrants and notify them by phone and e-mail by 5:00 on July 1st. Each contestant will record their version of  The Farm Store's jingle at Cornerstone Media Resources between July 2nd and July 3rd. All recorded versions will be available to listen to on line at kmnt.com, and each will be aired at least once on KMNT or KELA beginning July 4th. Voting box will be available by ballot at the Farm Store and online voting at kmnt.com, until noon on  July 17th. All votes will be tallied and the top 3 (and 2 alternate) contestants will be notified by KMNT/KELA staff. The finalists will need to be at The Farm Store from 1:00 pm. - 4:00 pm. on Saturday July 19th to sing live at the Farm Store's Grand Re-Opening event. Ballots will be handed out to each person present and the final decision will be announced between 3:00 pm. and 4:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place contestants. The 1st place winner receiving a brand new Gas grill.

 

Contestants must agree to record their version of the Jingle on either July 2nd or July 3rd. They also must agree to be at the Farm Store Grand Re-Opening event on July 19th between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, if they are voted into the top 3. In the event they are not able to fulfill either of these requirements they will be required to notify the contest representative as soon as possible, and agree to allow an alternate contestant to replace them in the competition knowing they will not be eligible for any compensation or prize. Contestants must be willing to give permission to The Chehalis Farm Store, Cornerstone Media Resources, and Bicoastal Media  to use their name, image,  full recording session and all live radio broadcast or recordings to promote themselves in any way they choose without further permission or compensation. Contestants under the age of 18 must have their parent's signature to participate. Employees of The Farm Store, Cornerstone Media Resources, and Bicoastal Media are ineligible to participate. All vote tallies and decisions from the contest representatives are final and contestants must accept the outcome as final.
